I love this family so much… I met Delphine, mother of 2, 5 years ago for the 1st time. She was expecting her lovely Taina. She hired me at that time for a pregnancy shoot and a newborn session with her little princess. Unfortunately, some weeks after that newborn session, the father died in a car accident.
As a family photographer, it’s very important to build a close relationship with my clients especially for in-home sessions that are more intimate that outdoor ones. I was really afftected by this tragic event as the family was more than usual clients to me. I couldn’t do any newborn session for a long time. I was so sad for them and for Taina who lost her father when she was 3 or 4 months old. My photos and the video from this session would be her memories from her father, Delphine said. And this was very hard but true to hear. When bad things happen in life, we realize that only photography lasts. This is priceless.
Almost 4 years later, Delphine was booking me for a new pregnancy and newborn shoot. She has a loving man beside her to take care about her and her 3 kids. Life may be a bitch but sometimes things change for the better.
So Baby J. (Juliann) was born early January. A cute round face, deep blue eyes… You just want to kiss him. I came to their new place to meet this little guy and do the newborn & family session in their new huge and welcoming house. The kids were happy to pose with their little brother. I was so happy to see my lovelyTaina again. It has been a while since I last saw her. She was still a very little cutie. She is now a wild and playful little girl. We shared a great moment together, taking pictures, eating cupcakes, talking and laughing.
Juliann is 6 months and he is even more adorable.
