As a photographer and a creative, we have to and be able to get out of our comfort zone to explore new styles. I have been looking for doing some intimate boudoir in a low light atmosphere for a while now. For this very first experience as a boudoir photographer, I wanted to have an inked woman as a model. So I made that call on my Facebook page. And that’s how I met Julie who kindly invites me to her place to give the start to my new professional project. Julie is a model, a photographer, a make-up artist and a mum of 3 beautiful children. She has beautiful tattoos of course. We had a great time chatting about photography, children and laughing.
I had many ideas in my brain before the shoot and felt like a student in front of the blank page once I arrived at Julie’s place. Well we need to jump or dive and I was getting more at ease with the light and posing and creative ideas were coming back. I am happy with the results. Anyway there will be some things to think about and to prepare for the next boudoir shoots, others to improve but I am very delighted by this first session intimate boudoir.
And yes, I like low light that gives either an intimate atmosphere to the image or a rawness one.
If you are tempted by the experience, be aware that I will shortly start to offer Boudoir sessions in my collections. Sessions will take place whether at your home or at the hotel and I will also propose a professional MUA service. (hotel and MUA: extras)
in the meantime, I would like to make one or two new intimate boudoir sessions at home. So I’m looking for 2 models (trade for photos).
No matter how chaotic it is, wildflowers will still spring up in the middle of nowhere.
